Chris made homemade barbecue sauce and it was outstanding, sweet with a touch of heat.
1 C. ketchup
1/4 C. apple cider vinegar
1/8 C. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. molasses
1 tsp. Liquid Smoke
1 tsp. honey
1 tbsp. mustard
2 tsp. Northwoods Fire (Penzey’s)
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. cocoa
1/2 C. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Mix all ingredients in sauce pan, heat on low until sauce thickens.
