2 tbls. soft shortening
1 egg
3/4 C. orange juice
3/4 C. milk
1 tsp. orange rind
3 C. flour
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3/4 C. nuts
1 C. chopped apricots
Mix all ingredients together and bake 60-70 minutes in a greased loaf pan at 350 degrees.
